T M Shihabudeen (Shihab), cultural activist and emerging Malayalam mystic poet was born in a progressive Muslim Family in Kochangadi, Kerala. He developed an interest in art, music, and literature in a very early age. During early 90s, he set up Mattacherry’s first art gallery ‘Dravidia Art Gallery’, which was officially closed in the year 2012. He is an active environmentalist and cultivates and lives in his farm in Kandalur, which is part of the Palani Hills, between Kerala and Tamil Nadu border.
